Relax and rejuvenate in the peace and solitude of Michigan's north woods.
Secluded lodges and cabins are nestled within open, rolling woods, centrally located on two private lakes. The lodges are within walking distance to the lake shores, and our larger lodges are ideal for large family reunions, offering both convenience and privacy.
Two smaller cabins, near the Reed family lodge, provide easy access to the manager's cabin and the property's many roads. With three lodges sleeping 12 each and three cabins sleeping 2 to 6, you’ll find cozy and comfortable accommodations waiting for you!
Get away from it all!
With over 6,500 acres of private forest, lakes, fields, & wetlands, you can get lost if you want to, maybe without trying!
Take a look, and find out what we have waiting for you! We dare you to get to it all in only a week. Two weeks, maybe.
Lose yourself in the adventure, or relax to your heart's content!
We all had a blast up north! I don't want to leave! There were a lot of deer. It was cold! We all played hide-and-go-seek, catch phrase, and Sardines. The fireplace was always running! Keeping warm. Well, I have to go. You know pack-up! It was another great year at Reed Ranch!

God must have made Reed Ranch! The beauty of his creations are here in abundance. My first trip was in October of 1972 with White's Bow hunting group. This has always been Paradise! Other than 5 years in Germany and Austria(Vehicle Eng. Consultant) I've been here every time when I could make the trip. We now have a Snowmobile group of 8 people and I am 66 yrs old. I will be here every year as long as I can. I've met many wonderful people over the years and could fill the book with stories from the past. My only hope is that whom ever reads this has as much fun and memories that are yours to enjoy here. Thanks to the Reed Family

We had a terrific time. Caught a few very nice fish. The pan fish were not as abundant. But we did catch a couple very nice pike and a good size bass over 21” and over 4 lbs. We saw a porcupine on the 2nd day and another bear and 3 cubs off of the Bridal trail near Kings Highway. We saw an abundance of game birds but no turkey on the property. The cabin was in tip top condition and so was the property. This is a wonderful place and unfortunately to some extent a well kept secret.
Had a great week. Our kids & grandkids were at the Katy-Lee while the “Old” folks were here. Good fishing all week Pike in the 28-36” range but few bass. Rained on day but it was needed. This place is great. Cool and clean. This is the 38th year up here.

We had an amazing time at the Dog Trot this year, as usual. We caught more fish than we have in years and saw a wide array of animals on our day and night rides. We were able to canoe and boat many times throughout the week. We'll be back next year for more great times.

The 22nd annual Reed Ranch Father/son outing. Party of 10 originals. Pepper was here too! Dog Trot is great!! Fishing is good- weather also.
Had a real thrill catching a 36” pike on a yellow spinner. It fought like mad circled under the boat -dived for the weeds, Put it back so we can catch it again, Doug. What will we do next year? Grandsons want to come here.
We want our guests to take home great memories to last a lifetime, every visit. Tell us about your trip. Your praise and suggestions are equally welcome.
